Is my ATOM.XML valid as a SITEMAP?

Hi, I have this site in blogger.com and I submitted it on Webmaster Center Live today. I don't know if the http://bleuken.blogspot.com/atom.xml will be a valid sitemap format. Is atom.xml allowed to be used as a sitemap format?

Hi,

general rule: If you can use it at Google and Yahoo, you can use it here.

Live Search supports the joint sitemap protocol. There are several resources on the web that will help generate a sitemap for you. Take a look at this SERP page: Sitemap tools search results
