Looking for a way to script (prefer through batch) to display Win Version + Architecture x32/x64 + SP installed

    such as:

    ## IF Windows 7 64Bit SP1

      -   check for latest Windows update/Patches

      -  If installed go to end

      -  If not go to install latest

    ## IF Windows 7 32Bit SPX?

Document system and make note to replace in prep for Win 10 upgrades.

    Hopefully you get the picture...

  • Batch files are almost useless in modern Windows.  PowerShell can do all of this very easily.  If you are a tech you need to be learning PowerShell.
