How important are the terms on MS Exams? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm studying for the 70-646 exam and I have the "official" book to the exam and I'm wonder how important is it to know the terms word for word? Obviously, you need to know what the terms are but is precise definition knowledge needed?

Is it a waste of my time to make flash card and instead focus on the using Windows Server 2008 + Concepts of configuration etc...

  • Not really sure if we can answer that without breaking any MS exam policies.

My experience in MS is that terms aren't as important as knowing how to implement the technology (real world stuff vs academic).
