  • Question

  • Hello,

I purchased a new HP laptop on 8/16/2007 with Windows Vista Ultimate; however, the bonus site is telling me I am inelligible.  Please can you explain why?

    Thank you,

  • Dear Cortland,

Thank you for your interest in the Buy Local program. It appears that you are ineligible because you did not purchase your machine from a system builder, but, as you stated purchased your system from Hewlett Packard. Major OEM systems are not eligible for this program. Please see www.localpcbuilder.com/eligible and http://www.localpcbuilder.com/buylocal_faq.aspx for eligibility criteria information.

Please let me know if you have additional questions or comments.

    Thank you,

    Jenifer
