Outlook & CRM Add-in - Disabling Synchronization of folders RRS feed

  • Hi.

    We have Outlook 2010 with CRM4 and I'd like to be able to disable synchronization of Contacts, etc., in this Set Personal Options window:

    I would like to disable these settings centrally for all users. Where are these settings held? And is there any way to centrally ensure they are disabled for all users?

  • Hi,

    Doing these settings for all users is not as easy as you think. I could suggest two options:

    1- The table dbo.UserSettingsBase contains almost all of the user settings. You may edit the columns you want manually. REMEMBER, that manipulating DB in this manner is UNSUPPORTED.

    2- Write you own plugin (using SDK) to change these fields for all users. Have a look at this link for a walkthrough.
