user is not authenticate from child server

  Hi ! 

  we are running parent -child mode in our network ,where child server is being operate from remote branch , it having windows 2008 R2 at parent as well as child , all of sudden we are getting that domain controller of child server is not available & client of child is not able to join domain/login . please help me on this
