  • This is becoming a little discouraging for me. To be honest, this is not about PIA and CRM integration, it's more the basic ASP.NET application troubleshooting thing.

A few things that you may want to check:

    • Make sure that no virtual directory has been created for ISV\Portal folder.
    • Make sure that ISV\Portal is running under .NET 2.0 framework.
    • Make sure that no web.config file has been created under ISV\Portal folder, which could alternate the behaviors of the ASP.NET pages.

  • Please do check ISV folder as well, as any Virtual Directory or web.config there will also alternate the configuration inheritance.

  • Did you have code-behind .dll files uploaded to CRMWeb\bin folder?

  • Did you actually follow the procedures in the video, and copies Portal folder to your <CRMWeb>\ISV folder? Do you see the following files under <CRMWeb>\ISV\Portal folder?

    • EntityList.aspx.cs
    • EntityList.aspx.designer.cs

Also, please ensure that MSAConfigurationConsole.dll file has been copied to <CRMWeb>\bin folder. You can find MSAConfigurationConsole.dll file at "Installation\Step 3 - Portal Configuration Console\Portal Console Assembly" folder.
