A worker process with process id of '3592' serving application pool in IIS RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

Every time when I log in to IIS Manager, I always see the notify information on that "A worker process with process id of '3592' serving application pool 'CRMAppPool' has requested a recycle because the worker process reached its allowed processing time limit."

Why does it always happend ? If everyone has facing like this before, pls suggest me how to fix it.

    Thank in advance,

  • Application Pool recycling is normal in IIS, and can be configured via the Recycling option in IIS Manager. By default application pools are set to recycle every 29 hours (or something like that), though I prefer to schedul it for particular times.

I'm not sure why you're getting the notification in IIS Manager - I assume there is a configuration option to specify whether you are notified or not
