CRM 2013 Support with Outlook 2010 and Exchange 2003 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We are currently using CRM 2011 and Outlook 2010 on Exchange 2003.

Now we have a requirement to upgrade to CRM 2013. So when we install CRM 2013 for Office Outlook 2010, will it be supported since our Exchange is still on 2003?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hi Gagandeep,

Installation of Outlook client depends only on the MS Office version. In your case, Office 2010 is supported for installing CRM 2013 outlook client. However, if you also use EMail Router to connect Exchange Server for emails then "Exchange Server 2003" is not supported for CRM 2013.

So, if you use both outlook client and EMail Router then Exchange Server 2007 or later version is required.

  • Hi Vikranth,

Thanks for your response. I was hoping the same. I'm currently going to test this scenario. Let me come back if I do have any comments / feedback.
