Personal views - Dynamic CRM 2011 On premises RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am having issues that my users cannot create personal views at all.

I have set all permissions as I Think they should look, but it is not working.
Core Records -> Saved View (all of these are set to a user level)
Business Management -> User (create, read, write is set to business unit level)
Business Management -> User settings (create business unit level, read Organization, write user level and append to business unit)

Customization -> View (Create, Read Write is set to organization level)

But still I get an error when I try to save a personal view (CreateAccess is the error)

    Can anyone help?

  • That is what I did.

I tried to save the view, and I then checked the trace folder
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics CRM\Trace

I have alot of logs there (from 2013-06-22).
Also have 6 files from today (11.18)

There is alot of text in all of them

The solution was that having team permissions is not enough, each individual user needs their own permission as well

  • Hello,

Could you enable tracing in CRM and check for error details, it will help you to understand what you are missing.

  • No,

    1. Enable trace.

    2. Try to save view

    3. Check Trace folder in ms crm website, trace files will be there.
