Toshiba laptop touchpad cannot be ENABLED. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I think I may have accidently removed the program/driver/software/hardware for my touchpad mouse. It is just stuck in the middle of my screen and I can't move it. I have to navigate through everything with my tab key. I did check the mouse but it is marked on "disable" & will not allow me to click on "enable" How do I find the correct source to install whatever it is that is needed?

  • This question should be asked in the Windows Answers Forum at the following address

Anyway, you could go to the Toshiba Support web site (http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/home.jsp) and perform the appropriate selections to locate the touchpad drivers and software for your notebook; alternatively, you can apply a restore point to revert back your system to a previous welll functioning state.

    Bye.
