  • Question

  • All,

I decieded to become MCT Trainer of Microsoft Technology such Windows Dekstop and Office.
I am MCP and have been invited to enroll for MCT by Microsoft. To do this I need to apply online.

However, I am struggled to find out whatt exactly are reqiurments for MCT.
What I know so far is:
Must have a Microsoft Certifications of technology want to teach,
    pay annual fee

but what I don't understand is:
Is it enough to hold CTT+ only? or /and improved class teaching by one of recommended website?

and the quastion is: what exactly requirements are necessery to become MCT?

Many thanks for directions and answers.

  • For the MCT 2009 program year (from April 1, 2009, through March 31, 2010), MCTs must fulfill the following requirements.
    1. Meet MCT competency requirements for each course they deliver.

    2. Administer course evaluations to every student and maintain high customer-satisfaction scores.

    3. New MCTs must deliver at least one Microsoft course within their first year as an MCT.

At various times during the program year, Microsoft conducts audits of the MCT community to ensure compliance with program requirements.

  • The CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+) certification identifies excellent and dedicated industry instructors. The Training Associates also look for CompTIA CTT+ certification when hiring trainers.  Adobe, Dell, Microsoft, Novell and Ricoh recommend that their trainers be CompTIA CTT+ certified. The Training Associates also look for CompTIA CTT+ certification when hiring trainers.
So ,in my opinion ,you'd better hold CTT+.

    Hope it useful for u.

  • Thank you for reply,

    Last question then:

Is it necessary or essential to hold CTT+ as well?
