  • The Windows 2003 exams have not been issued a expiration date publicly. Normally when the date is released, you will have a year to test out of the exams before retirement. So you should be ok.

  • The Win2003 exams will probably expire in about 2/3 years when mainstream support for the product begins to end or possibly even up to a year after that. For example the SQL 2000 exma retired in March 2009

Also the server 2000 exams retired in 2008 (http://www.microsoft.com/learning/mcpexams/status/examsretired.mspx)

So usually as mainstream support is ending is the best guess right now

  • Hi Eric,

As Michael and Niall wrote, you don't have to worry much about the expiration for next few years for sure :) And afterwards once you get your MCSE 2003, you will never loose it :)

    Cheers,
    Ben

  • You can use the training catalog @ http://learning.microsoft.com/Manager/Catalog.aspx?brand=learning

For exam 70-270: this exam must be taken and passed before June 30, 2010.

Here is the link to exam 70-270: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/Exam.aspx?ID=70-270&Locale=en-us

Use the training catalog to look up each exam by entering the exam number in the search bar.
