  • Hi,

What is the error message of failure connection from Windows 10 to WHS2011?

In general, please try below suggestion:
    1. Make sure that your WHS has been fully patched with Windows Update & hotfix, as Windows 10 is newer OS version than WHS 2011, it would be helpful for resolving some known issues and improving the performance.
    2. Connect Windows 10 to WHS's network with wired cable, re-start client system in clean boot and try to re-connect again to check the result.
    3. Manually assign the Preferred DNS server on Windows 10 as your WHS's IP address(if it is configured as your internal DNS server) and check the result.

If problem persists, we can check relate log files on Windows 10:
    %programdata%\Microsoft\Windows Server\Logs
