  • I recently tried the MS Office 2010 Beta with terrible results.  After trying multiple times to get Outlook to work, I removed the entire office suite from my computer, since I did not see an option to just remove Outlook.  In that process my Office 2003 got corrupted and would not work.  I used system restore 3 times and had no luck.  On this forum I found a discussion thread about that problem and used the recommended MSICUU to remove the inoperative Office 2003.  Now when I try to re-install Office 2003 the software looks for the prior version to allow the upgrade and it does not find it even though it is still installed.  I am upgrading from MS Works.  This upgrade worked in the past, but now it has failed.  What do you recommend short of buying an Apple?  I would try to re-install the Office 2010 beta, but the e-mail with the product Key is in my Outlook file, and removed from the server.
