Force Echo to start over

  I've several posts related to Echo not working as desired. For example, if a folder accidentally gets
  deleted from the Right Side (i.e. backup), then it will never be re-copied from the left side (assuming
  the left side goes unchanged).
  
  Is there a way to force SyncToy Echo to start over with a fresh comparison ?  Deleting both left
  and right dat files doesn't work.  Seems that the only solution is to delete and re-create
  the folder pair. 
  
  That seems very dangerous, as there's a possibility you won't re-create the pair correctly (e.g.
  with all the same options)
