    The subscription to my last version of Live OneCare lapsed about a month ago.  I was at the computer store today and bought another copy of the software.  It doesn't want to install.  I'm thinking that I need to uninstall the older version, but would like to know for certain before I do that.  Any definite advice.  I'm not looking for hunches.  And for the record, I think I get better support from my ex-wives.  I'm kind of sorry I didn't buy someone else's software at the moment.

    To renew your subscription using a retail product key go to billing - https://billing.microsoft.com/home.aspx sign in using the Live ID and password associated with your subscription, select your One Care subscription and select "Renew this service". On the payment page select "Pre-paid PIN or Token" as the method of payment and enter the 25 digit product key.
