Auto Logon unavailable. RRS feed

  • Question

    Question is regarding auto logon.

We have 2 domains in our envrionment.

    domain1.ca(external)  domain2.ca (internal).

OCS is setup successfully. and the hostname of the server is OCS.domain2.ca.  Alternate name is sip.domain2.ca

I have the certificates configured and all services start successfuly. I do have the DNS "A" record pointing to ocs.domain2.ca.    and the SRV record _sipinternaltls on 5061 for ocs.domain2.ca

I have also enable tcp on this.

    So, this is my dilemma.

User accounts are setup using the email account. Which is ---> username@domain1.ca   I hope u can see where i'm going with this.

So on auto logon, the Client fails.  checking the eventlog, i see its looking for sip.domain1.ca  because the sip url is using @domain1.ca

How can i get this to work...?  I HAVE to use the email address as logon, i have no choice in that matter.

I can however logon using TCP and it takes me in.  But, when trying to send an IM, the FIRST message sent after hitting enter or send comes back saying it wasnt delivered.  All subsequent messages are fine.

  • Create a second zone in DNS that is named domain1.ca

Add SRV record _sipinternaltls on 5061 for ocs.domain2.ca

I think that should do it
