Configure IIS Express to use SSL and full name site RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm try to configure Visual Studio 2017 and IIS Express for work in HTTPS with a specific hostname.

I'm working with Azure so the developer need run on specific trusted site (https://developername.domain.com)

I have installed a wildcard official certificate in my developer machine

I have reserved the name for IIS Express netsh http add urlacl url=https://developername.domain.com user=everyone

now If I run IIS Express manually (lunch from cmd the IIS Express command) I can access it in HTTP but when I switch to HTTPS I receive the error "Cannot securely connect to this page This might be because the site uses outdated or unsafe TLS security settings. If this keeps happening, try contacting the website’s owner."

What are the step for configure IIS Express working using SSL with Visual Studio?
