i want to call someone directly regarding my hotmail account. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have recently moved to another country, when trying to access my Hotmail/outlook account if am told i cant as im signing in from a new location. i no longer have access to the back up email so i have gone through all the verification processes.

after telling me this would take no more than 24 hours i am still locked out after 6 days! i have tried to contact my local Microsoft office (who unfortunately don't understand my English very well) i have tried to contact the UK support number however i am going round in circles with the automated options. none of them lead me to anyone who deals with a Hotmail query.

I have contacted the online live help daily (sometimes for hours at a time) and they have all been useless.

All i want to do is speak to someone who can help me access my account, is there a direct number i can call?

Noel is correct (as usual) in addition account related issues now have to be done via the secure online form.  There is no chat, phone, live, ect support for the free Hotmail/Outlook.com accounts.

The Microsoft account forum has been retired and all account related questions must now be asked online here
Select the error you need help with and fill out the requested details on the next page.  You need to be signed in with a Microsoft account to access the form.
If you are unable to access your primary account, you can use an alternate account (if you have one) or create a new one at https://signup.live.com
