  • Hello MikeOliver233,

    From your mgadiag report:

    Windows Product ID: 00426-068-0796857-86663

The "068" value is indicative of an installation of Windows 7 Ultimate done with a product key from the MSDN program.

Darin should be able to confirm.

  • Thanks for looking Darin.

Email sent to supplier - Are these cases also best reported to the Police?

£139 first thing in the year wasnt what I was hoping for, but there we go. It could be worse.

  • Well I've done even better than that.

Its now in the hands of a forensic investigator who contracts to Microsoft who just happens to be a friend of the family and is currently working on dozens of cases like this.

Hope he gets somewhere with it.

Pleased to say I now have my legal license key, just a shame its cost me so much!

  • He has passed it onto the Senior Investigator at Microsoft - If they cant track them down then no one can. Pretty pleased about this :)
