How to customize the history view? RRS feed

    How can I customize the history view where I want to bring the "from" and "To" fields of the email activity in the history view.

    Has anyone customized it in this manner?

    Pls do let me know.

    Hi Prince,

    You can not show From and To in History View. History View is actually ActivityPointer View i.e. It shows all types of activities and all activities doesn't have those fields.

    If you want to check History View, go to Settings -> Customization -> Activity -> Views -> Closed Activity Associated View.

    On the history view you can only put fields that are common to all activites. These fields are attributes of the ActivityPointer entity in CRM. This entity represents a pointer to specific activity types such as email and letter.

    If you want to have To & From then maybe you should consider writing a custom view.
