Erasing Windows Powershell RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have attempted to upgrade an XP computer to Windows 7.  It said I needed to upgrade to Windows 7 from Windows Vista.  I have both so I ran an update for Vista Home Premium.  As the installation seemingly finished, Windows Explorer went into a loop - writing that Windows Explorer would not start then ran the looking for solution.  That box would closes and the same thing would repeat.  Closing those files had no effect.  I used System Restore to regain control.

Now I am trying to reinstall Vista and I keep getting an error telling me to delete Microsoft Windows Powershell.  I looked on the Remove Programs list and could not find it.  I located many related Powershell files but cannot find a delete program.

Should I manually delete the files and folders?  I am open to suggestions.

    Thanks,

    John Schneider
