CRM 2011: Regarding Annotation (notes) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

When I reopen a closed incident, the "modifiedon" and the "modifiedBy" in the dbo.AnnotationBase is getting set to the time of reopen and the user reopened respectively. Because of this the notes is showing the date and user with the reopen time and the reopen user which is not expected (atleast in my scenario). Can we control dbo.AnnotationBase not getting touched when the case is reopen?

  • Can you change that relationship from "Parental" to "Configurable Cascading" and turn off the status change cascade?  The notes are getting set from read-only because the Case is.

  • Hi Wayne Walton, Thanks for the response. I do see the following options when I select Configurable Cascading. Which one do I need to modify?

    Thanks, Raghunath

  • Hi Wayne Walton,

I changed the Assign to "Cascade None" and it helped to resolve the issue in my case. Thanks!
