Another Windows XP Pro OEM WGA Blocked RRS feed

  • Question

  • I also am a small OEM who is having a problems with a BLOCKED PID on two of my customers systems.

I have an open support incident # SRZ060809001403 which has the information on the Invalid Product keys and the results of the WGA Diags. I have also asked that the incident be escalated to Michelle Holtman.

I also have a letter from the Product ID Group which say's the software is Genuine! I have an Invoice from the place of Purchase (Ingram Micro).

I don't know or care how these ID's became "lost or stolen" All I know is that I bought legal software and my customer would not compromise his own systems.

What I do want is someone to either unblock the ID's or give me new ID's!

Michelle and I aren't able to handle escalations like this anymore, as we do not have the ability to take legal investigations. It must be done through the support channel to be escalated appropriately.

  • eroskos,

To help me understand the issue further can you please follow the steps below?

    1. Download and run the WGA Diagnostic Tool  http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012

    2. After running the WGA Diagnostic Tool, click on the "Windows" tab and then click on "Copy" at the bottom right of the window. Paste the results into your forum response by starting a new post/thread and holding down "CTRL" and clicking "V" while still having "CTRL" held.
