Quick campaign: Create activities slowly RRS feed

  • Hello,

    I want to create a quick campaign, using a marketing list to create phone calls.
    The problem is: I do not want to create 10,000 phone calls at once. Instead I want to create 100 each day (manually).

    Is that possible in some way?
    I can imagine that there has to be some routine to say which contact already has such phone call an which doesn't

  • Create a flag attribute on the contact record which gets ticked when the phone call activity is created via workflow and have your view for selecting the 100 filter out records with the flag ticked.

  • Hi Uwe,

    One way to do this would be to create a custom workflow and run it on the marketing list daily. (manually)
    Your custom workflow will look for all contacts that don't have the phonecall activity and create the activity for top 100.

    I can not think of a simple way (via configuration) without a custom workflow to implement this.

    I cannot filter on contacts that DON'T have a certain activity. I would need to do this using another marketing list.

    An additional flag is very much overhead, because not every manager can do such things for many campaigns.
    This is all very complicated for such simple tasks.
