Validation Incomplete, Unable to perform validation RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have the same problem as everyone else.  This is a computer I bought new a few years ago.  Now I ran a System Recovery Program which reinstalled the OEM software.  I've read the threads about ActiveX controls and have set all those to enable.  I've disabled the firewall.  I still get this "unable to authenticate" message.  Now I just ran the utility that collects my system information, pasted it to the clipboard, and here it is: WGA Diagnostic Data (1.5.0530.2):

The sticker on my tower says Windows XP Home Edition

Hewlett Packard  followed by the product key.  It doesn't say OEM.

    How do I validate? Rafa49
