CRM 2011 Outlook client gives error

Question
-
Hello,
i've recently installed the CRM outlook client on one of the computers that we have on our business.
The installation runs without a problem and can connect to the CRM server (local). But when I start up Outlook, the CRM plugin gives me a error 'a error occurred' and that i can try later to connect again.
When I login to the CRM pagina on Internet Explorer there are no problems. Can somebody help me?

Hi appievdmey,
Can you please do the following in order and give us the trace results? That should contain information that we can use to troubleshoot.
Can you please enable CRM tracing ? Start > All programs > Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 > Diagnostics > Advanced Troubleshooting > Tracing
Click Tracing
Replicate the issue
Stop tracing.
Locate the log file using the following.
For tracing on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 or 2013 client for Microsoft Office Outlook and the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 client for Microsoft Office Outlook and for tracing on Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Data Migration Manager, the trace log file is created in the following folder if you have Update Rollup 7 or a later cumulative update installed:
DriveName:\ InstallingUser \Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\MSCRM\Traces

Hi Daniel,
I did, I installed the client on 3 other computers. One of them works.
What do you mean with discovery url?The servertime and clientime are exactly the same

As you said that it works on one machine, I don´t thin k it is related to wrong configuration on ure server.
try following: uninstall crm and remove all components, .net. visualc+...
create on the machine where it doesn´t works a new userprofile
install with fulladministrator .net4 and after reboot install crm on the new createed userprofile again and try to configure it after successfully installation.

Hi Daniel,
I removed the userprofile en create a new one. Also I re installed CRM and all the components, but it still doesn't work.
The error logs speaks about a ribbon that he can't find, does this something have to do with rights?Albert
Friday, June 6, 2014 6:33 AM -
when it works for one machine, try with the user on the machine where it doesn´t to see if its related to roles and also reverse, than you will know what is casuing the issue, user or machine or roles.
The error log you provided is not enough, can you please double check and do a trace on youre crm frontend server and paralell on youre clientmachine?
the error with ribbon could also dns related
