Account - Attaching emails RRS feed

  • Hello

    Is there any chance you can add an email to an account? As when I receive an email with important information on a prospects I have to forward it to management which can get hidden with all of the other emails they receive, it would be easier to have it attached to an account so everyone can refer back to it at a later date.

    Is this possible?

  • If you have the Outlook client installed:

    1. Select the Email
    2. Click on 'Set Regarding'
    3. Select 'Account' as the Entity type
    4. Choose the Account with which you wish to associate the email

    If you cannot access 'Set Regarding' and/or 'Account' is not available in the list of entities for 'Set Regarding', see the following article for assistance in setting the requisite permissions:

  • Is there any way to see the e-mail referencing within CRM?  It seems the e-mail is tagged with the account information.  Usually any attchment to an account is seen in the notes.  Once we 'Set Regarding', how can I see the e-mail from CRM?
