When does e-mail get status reason "Completed" RRS feed

  • Hi, among status reasons of an e-mail activity I find Completed beside Sent, Received and others. I am wondering when does an e-mail get this status? I see some of them in the system and don't understand why they are not in Received status when they came from a customer...

  • Hello Radevic,

    When you sent or receive an e-mail the e-mail activity gets the status sent or receive. Sending an e-mail doesn't mean the activity is completed. The e-mails could contain information about a new Opportunity, Case, Lead,... When you convert your E-mail to an opportunity, case, lead, it gets the status Completed. Completed means you reacted to the e-mail by creating a new CRM record based on your e-mail conversation.
