  • The KVM fills a very important role in Sun's Java virtual machine product offerings, and will form a part of a completely new Java runtime environment. This environment is highly optimized for small-memory limited-resource connected devices such as cellular phones, pagers, PDAs, set-top boxes, and point-of-sale terminals.

  • well as the full form is already mentioned, the utility I will explain.
KVM is java's virtual machine for small devices, like mobile phone's, PDA's etc.
It's much like the java's virtual machine for PC's but supports much less memory. It supports J2SE for small processing needs.
