CRM 2011 Opportunities Workflow and different forms issue. RRS feed

  • I'm trying to create a workflow that 3 months before a specific date an opportunity is created.

    I'm fine with the workflow itself and have all of the logic sorted ou but having a problem with the opportunities form.

    We have two different versions of the opportunity form for two different departments (A and B) with everything locked down so only users from those departments can see the respective form.

    The problem is when trying to create the workflow it is showing the information from both departments (A and B) opportunity form and will not let me save it because of the mandatory fields from the other not needed department.

    What I can't get my hear around is if I try to create an opportunity normally from an account with exactly the same User Account that I'm using for the workflow it only shows me the correct information on the opportunities form (company A) and not the other departments required info (company B).
