We are trying to submit ansys test job but its added to queue because of the reason ("Pending Reason: not enough available core") even there are no jobs running and are cpu's are free. do I miss any parameters to fill.

I will be apreciated if anyone can assist me.

Answers

  • You should check to make sure your nodes are "Online;" if they are offline they cannot recieve jobs.  To take nodes online and offline go to Node Management in the Cluster Administrator, or run Set-HpcNodeState from PowerShell.

    Thanks,
