Microsoft Fix it error code 0x80004005

  Windows Xp home edition.   While using Microsoft Fix It, i get this error code 0x80004005 "This troubleshooter doesn't apply to this computer".

  I used it to correct some problems with my CD/DVD drivers and it worked great but when I tried to use Fix Windows system performance problems on slow Windows computers I got that error code and message.  Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

  This is a great little program if I can get it to work.
