  • Hello,

     From my research MS Agent 2.0 was phased out after Vista. However, there is

    a hot fix for Win7 only. Here are the relevant links;

     https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/969168/microsoft-agent-enabled-programs-do-not-work-in-windows-7

     https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms695784%28vs.85%29.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

     https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/desktop/win7appqual/windows-7-application-quality-cookbook

     Keep in mind that MS Agent is an ActiveX/COM so there may have been some component security issues.

     Hope this helps :)
