Outlook 2003 validation issue

Question
-
Every time I re-start my computer and open Outlook 2003 I receive the Genuine Microsoft Software screen. If I go 'Validate' I get the 'Validation is as easy as 1-2-3'. From here I have validated my Windows but when I try to validate Office I'm returned to the Genuine Microsoft Software screen.
I confirm that Outlook is activated. I've also completed the Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostic Test (MGADT) and this tells my Outlook is validated.
So why do I keep getting the prompt at start up?Saturday, February 14, 2009 8:48 PM

Good Morning TBaywatcher,
Thank you for visiting the Office Genuine Advantage (OGA) program forum. Your issue appears to be outside the scope of the OGA program forum. In an attempt to assist I would like to provide the following:
Open My Computer located on your desktop.
Go to: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Office\Data\
NOTE: The application data file may be hidden. Use the Tools drop down menu do the following: Folder Options->View->Hidden Files and Folders->Show Hidden Files and Folders to show the folder. Please re-hide the files once you have completed all the steps.
Right click data.dat file, then click Delete.
The data.dat file is for Office, Not OGA.
Once the file has been deleted, open an Office application such as MS Word and activate it.
If product activation was successful try the Office Validation located here:

Good Morning TBaywatcher,
Thank you for posting in the OGA Forums. Please run the Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostic Test (MGADT) so that I may analyze the results. By clicking the link below, you will download the MGADT. Then click the Run button. Then click the Run button again. Then click the Continue button to perform the diagnostic. The Windows tab should show, click the Copy button to paste your report to the clipboard. Then paste the report into a New Post on this Forum by adding a post in it and pressing Ctrl V (to paste the text). Clicking the OK button will clear the Diagnostic window. Here is the download link:http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012
Please tell us about the Certificate of Authenticity (COA) for your copy of Microsoft Office.
1. What edition/version of Office do you have? To find your edition/version click Start, Word Options, Resources, About, there you should find the title of your edition.
2. Does it read "OEM Software" or "OEM Product" in black lettering?
3. Or, does it have the computer manufacturer's name in black lettering?
4. Please provide the customer scenario you are experiencing.
5. DO NOT post the Product Key.
Not sure what to look for, see this page to reference your COA:
NOTE: The data collected with the Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostic Tool does NOT contain any information that can personally identify you. The information can be fully reviewed, by you, before being posted.
Thank you.

Dear Microsoft
The MGADT report follows.
As for your question about the edition/version of Office I have your 'to find' instructions are not helpful. From Start I do not have a "Word Options" choice. However, I've located the original discs and it tells me the version is "Microsoft Office XP Profesisonal - Version 2002".
I'm looking forward to a speedy resolution of the issue MS has created with no benefit to myself.
Thanks
