Money asks for a password but I did not set one RRS feed

    I have had a pc failure and now have a new pc onto which I have downloaded Money.  I have my .mny files and backups but, on trying to open files, it is asking for a password and I had not set a password.  Is there a way round this please?

    This can happen when the Money file was created by a version of Money that is newer than the installed version. There is a link (currently second post) in this forum with download links for the latest files for the various regions.
