outlook toolbar & menu for CRM disappear after launch outlook without network RRS feed

  • I found the CRM client toolbar and menu in outlook will disapear when I launch outlook with network connection to CRM server. I can only get them back with CRM config wizard. Is there anyway to slove this problem totally? Any patch for client or server? Thanks.

    It's normal situation. MS CRM Plugin for Outlook tries to connect to MS CRM Server and could not find it. Install client with offline Access and before disconnect from network send Client to Offline mode.

  • Thanks for your reply. I did tell our market people to use their mobile CRM in this way. But they always forget to do so and ask me to restore their toolbar back. How boring it is! Actually, I also find another way to get CRM add-on within outlook(COM add-ins).  Just reload that dll file again after remove CRM toolbar.

  • Is there no other way to get the toolbar to come back or keep it from dropping?  We don't use offline due to some custom code, but our users need to get to Outlook when they are disconnected frequently.  They don't notice that they lost their toolbar until they find that their contacts are not syncing.
