Windows 7 Build 7601 Copy is Not Genuine Purchased from Amazon.com

Question
-
My ASUS netbook which I purchased from Amazon.com (not the marketplace) in December 2010 is displaying a message in the bottom right hand corner (Windows 7 Build 7601 Copy is Not Genuine).
I assume I should report it to Amazon and Microsoft...what information do I need to provide them with in order to expedite this process? Thank you in advance for any assistance.

No, interestingly, the notification disappeared after I ran the MGA.exe file
I will of course keep an eye out for it, for the time being though it appears to be cleared up.
Thank you

According to your report, your installation of Windows is properly activated, and validated. Are you still seeing the non-genuine notification??

Running MGADiag can force the system to attempt a self-heal operation – in your case, it seems as if it worked (it doesn’t always, as you can see from the number of posts here and elsewhere).Feel free to post back (with a new MGADiag report) if it re-appears.
