One Care Fixit fails after button pushed RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a Windows Vista Premium Gateway core duo computer that I keep up to date with OneCare Live Udate.

Just now, when I started my computer, OneCare, came up with an orange "fair" indicator in my righthand icons box. I opened OneCare and a message with a "fix it" button appeared, stating that this computer has problems that are affecting its security or performance. I pushed the fix it button and (after my acknowledging I was administrator) another window opened up that indicated at the top that a URL with a subdirectory of GTagent was being reached. However the window remained blank and devoid of any writing.

I then tried the OneCare Help by clicking on the reset settings option. This option also failed.

What is this GTagent and why can't my computer reach it?

I am blocking mediacenter store update on my firewall. Does this have some relationship to the problem?
