  • Hello KiwiBob1958,

If you are sure that you have a Volume Licensing Agreement, try to log onto your VL account using the links on the right side of this page:  http://www.microsoft.com/licensing/

Or click the "Contact a Specialist" link on the right (on that same web page) to call a MS Volume Licensing Representative who might be able to find your organization's information in MS's database.

  • Hello KiwiBob1958,

All of the Office programs (Enterprise, FrontPage, Visio, and SharePoint Designer) installed on your Dell computer are Volume Licensing progams.  In the Other Data section, the value <PidType>14</PidType>  tells us that they are VL programs.

Does this computer belong to a larger business, educational, or governmental organization that might have a current, valid Volume Licensing Agreement with Microsoft for all of these Office products?

  • Hello KiwiBob1958,

If your organization has a current, valid Volume Licensing Agreement with Microsoft for Office Enterprise 2007, you can try to correct the problem with the nongenuine blocked Volume Licensing Key by changing the bad key currently installed to your organization's good key.

Use the procedure described in this MS KB article to change the Volume Licensing product key:  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/895456

  • Hello  Dan,

Unfortenately i have only this keys and a letter we got with the software soem years ago, it is all installed according the instructions.  We never received a licencekey with mail or whatever.

**I thought the message was not pop-up anymore, but still after restarting the laptop the message pop-up again.  I can not understand why,

The other two programms, Visio and Sharepoint  i got with the same delivery date/package as with office 2007,  and as you see these programms are working and have good licence.

So what s the next step i can do.

I have the knowledge to change the regedit, that will not be the problem.

  • Hello KiwiBob1958,

If the "letter" is a Volume Licensing Agreement from Microsoft for the software installed, then you are good to go.  Such "letter" would look like the document depicted on this page http://www.microsoft.com/howtotell/product.aspx?pID=25cc2435-87b5-4b2d-b6a3-2d07fca748d5&cID=fab9617a-57ff-4789-9397-6dac071b19b0&method=retail&displaylang=en  under the heading Microsoft Open License Program Agreement.

However, if you do not have such an agreement, then your use of the software is a nongenuine use, regardless of whether the mgadiag report identifies the product as "genuine" or not.

  • Unfortenattely i could not find the letter and CD any more, but it is so strange that i got the productnummer, registrationcode, i got it all from the official Microsoft Website, I remember it was diplayed in a yellow box or something.  So i think when i will get the info from a Microsoft Website, after log in, and the whole procedure..  I think in this case Microsoft is not correct,  fighting against the great Goliath is impossible, so i have to find other solution,  sorry, but i am disappointed in Microsoft,   However, i will thank you for the investigation.  But still i feel sad, because i have no prove anymore.

  • Hello Dan,

The problem is solved, because  we got new donate software from MS , the old keys got invalid, that was a part of the contract.  We also got new laptoptop donated from other companies, as we installed the donated software from MS ,  i kept this laptop for private things.  So yesterday i bought Office professionel ( acedemic) and everything went smooth.
Only after installing the software i got one time the message back. But this morning i started again and no message will pop-up. So i will wait for somedays to close this topic.

But please can you tell me where i can find the problms with installing MS OUtlook  , with the bussiness Manager,   Outlook runs smooth, but I can't install the bussiness manger, also after removing and uninstall the BM again.  I get no faulty messages only, after one hours installation, still i not told me the installation was finished.

In the meantime i show here my copy detail of generui programmas,

Again Dan thank for our help
