OFF TOPIC:Transporting files between Windows and MAC systems. RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Hello;

    I have a project that requires me to transport files from Windows to MAC platforms, and vice versa. It's an audio synthesis project, where some of my software is on the MAC, and some on the Windows system.

    I bought one of those 2 GB flash drives, thinking that would enable that process.

    However, when I take the drive with MAC files on it, and plug that into my Windows XP system, it says "This drive is not formatted. Would you like to format it now?"

    Obviously. I don't want to destroy the files I have on there now. Is there a way to get them to talk to each other? Does this have to do with the type of flash drive I am using?

    Thanks;
