Importing CRM 4.0 users with their security roles in CRM 2011 RRS feed

    Hello there,

      Does there a way by using Scribe or other tool which can allow me to import the CRM 4.0 Users and their security roles in CRM 2011 organization.

    The orgnization are almost identical.

    Hi,

    You can use the deployment manager the entire datas ans user also can be mapped from CRM 4.0 to CRM 2011

    Thanks Surya,

        I am aware of importing 4.0 organization to CRM 2011. But due to some issues in metadata schema, its failing and we have opted the route of data migration.

    Please let me knoe if anybody has done the user data migration.

    Hi,

    There is no other option or tool to migrate 4.0 users to CRM 2011. Only way is too add the users again in CRM 2011 manually.
