Copy of Windows not passing Genuine Windows Validation

Question
-
Old computer used offline for many years (8 ish) then needed to go online so installed all the updates up to service pack 3 but can only be done through automatic updates, as while doing the mass of downloads WGA pops up saying its stuff. Is it because this is the 1st time the pc has gone online in its life and its all to much for it!
Any help much appreciated

Unfortunately your Key for this install is a well-known (and well-abused) variant of a Volume License Key - which was Blocked by MS many years ago.Your MS Office install is also non-genuine - the license for it used to belong to MS itself until it leaked to the internet and was blocked for that reason. You need to check whether you machine has a legitimate COA for Windows - and what version/edition - and then post back. There is nothing we can do about the Office install, unless you have a legal set of installation disks, etc..
