Windows Not Genuine

Question
-
I keep getting a validate Windows popup message and I am being told that my product key is Invalid and that i should try another one or purchase a new one. I also have the message permanently at the bottom right of my screen that says:
"Windows Vista (TM)
Build 6002
This copy of Windows is not genuine"
But it IS a valid product key. It is on a sticker on the back of the pull out that the Installation discs are clipped to In my Windows Vista Ultimate edition which cost me $500. I am also experiencing the problem of my Browser settings Drop down menus not being the same as what is described. And keep being told that I am using Chrome when I am not (I am not sure if these issues are related or this is an entirely separate one) So here is a copy of the Diagnostic report as per request...

The product key you have installed is for OEM manufacturers and requires proper SLIC 2.0 value in the BIOS. e.g. ASUS, Dell, and others. Your Gigabyte motherboard is not an OEM product it is a "retail" motherboard and has no SLIC value in BIOS for OEM activation. You would need to purchase a new key (or complain to the company who sold you the copy of Vista).
