Jeff's copy of windows worked, now it's invalid

    Question

  • Jeff's copy of windows came with the computer, was working fine, it got a trojan which is taken care of now, don't have the original
cd's except for the recovery drive, and just want microsoft to fix the validation so you don't risk losing any personal files please.

The windows genuine advantage says to copy he needs to be logged in as administrator and he doesn't have the admin password.

    Any help is appreciated

There is no way to fix anything without access to an Admin account – once you have that, then post back with a full MGADiag report.

  • ok, I gave him directions on how to crack the admin account on his computer.  If it's important enough to spend the time to do that, then he'll have the data you require.
