Hi,
If it isn't a managed solution then you will either have to delete the components one by one from the default solution, or simply 'hide' any traces of it from your forms, views, sitemap, advanced find, etc.
Deleting components can sometimes give you more issues than benefits. If you have a CRMOnline instance and the events management accelerator is using up many entities (there's a 300 entity limit in CRMOnline) then I can see the benefit from deleting. If
you're onpremise, I'd suggest you set about hiding instead of deleting.
A few tips;
1. Set entities to not display in the sitemap. If your sitemap has been customised then use the
xrmtoolbox to remove them.
2. Set the fields to be 'searchable' = No
3. Remove navigation items on forms
