The official support guidance seems to have evolved over time from don't combine virtualization High-Availability (Hyper-V Clustering or VMWare Vmotion) with Exchange 2007/Windows OS High-Availability (CCR and Window Clustering) to simply don't host an Exchange 2007 CCR role VM on a clustered Hyper-V host.
Are there any actual known issues with hosting an Exchange 2007 CCR mailbox role VM on clustered Hyper-V hosts when that specific VM is not setup for clustering/failover?
I imagine that I am not alone in consolidating otherworkloads onto the same Hyper-V Infrastructure and would like to take advantage of cluster failover of other VMs being hosted.
