First check what role is assigned to your user, then go to settings>security>security roles.
click on the role which is assigned to your user for example: if a user role is “sales person” then select the role from the security roles.
You can see the access given to the user as per the below screenshot.

As you can see in the above screenshot user has been assigned access of create, read, write, delete, append, append to, assign and share for the “quote” entity .
