Deleting a thread

Question
-
I would like to delete a thread but I'm unable to do so because the thread has been replied to.
My next thought was to delete my profile and then hope the thread would be deleted as a consequence. Unfortunately I can't find where I can delete my profile, so can someone help please.

Hi All,
Unfortunately, you can't delete a profile nor disassociate (currently not a supported scenario). Also true that you cannot delete a thread if there's a reply to it.
However, a moderator or a system administrator can delete the entire thread. You may want to contact the forum owner or if it's a valid post or thread to be deleted, let me know, I can delete it :)

Ah. I see why I can't delete this thread. The Forum is locked. Which means you can't post or do anything against that Forum. The thread also has an answered post which adds another constraint when deleting it. Is it important to delete this thread? In order for me to delete this thread, I/we'll need to unlock the forum, clear the thread with of answered replies then delete it.
Thanks.

Can someone explain why this thread should be deleted? I can unlock the forum really quick and delete it, but I want to know why first.

Hi,
i don`t guess this would work.
If you have got questions about this, just ask.
Mark the thread as answered if the answer helps you. This helps others who have the same problem !

Ok,
a liitle bit more exactly: i guess it won`t help you to delete your profile to get rid of that thread. I guess the thread will stay alive.
If you have got questions about this, just ask.
